Hi.

I’m Jill - a writer, speaker, podcaster, & former educator. Recently, I’ve taken on the role of student as I pursue my Masters at Dallas Theological Seminary.

Building faith through genuine interactions with people is where I often find myself. I’ve found that in each area God places me in, vulnerably sharing my testimony and highlighting God’s faithfulness through a myriad of life’s challenges has been a humbling honor. I believe that in community God does great things, and building each other up is an integral piece of our walk with Christ.

While I adore educators, and spend quite a bit of time encouraging and equipping them, I’m equally passionate about pouring into spouses of addicts and blended families. If I can support you, your church, or your business, I’d love the opportunity to meet!

The Teacher, Be Still Podcast

The Teacher, Be Still Podcast is a practical, faith-based podcast designed to inspire and equip educators as they navigate the wild life of being an educator.

Unless it’s a guest episode, all episodes are fairly short in length - perfect for your drive into work. Every episode is intentional and designed to help you in your discipleship walk with the Lord.

I truly believe that every educator is perfectly and purposely positioned to impact little hearts for the Kingdom. And as hard as teaching can be, I hope you know . . . your value reaches far beyond the walls of a classroom.

jill & john - The Podcast

If you need to hear a raw, horribly edited/recorded, yet real life podcast about marriage and blended family life . . . look no further. We didn’t know what we were doing when we launched this, but rest assured . . . we still don’t. HA! Stay tuned for more episodes coming in 2026 - the year we have it all together.

Our life has been anything but typical, and much of what we’ve learned has been while navigating some very rough waters. Join us as we tell our story in a genuine and transparent format, boldly sharing things some would rather not talk about. Marriage and divorce, blended family life, addictions, raising kids, generational bonds, and lots and lots of faith in a God that has never let us down.
